Military lifestyle is not an easy one to live. I have to be so called "stingy" just for my husband and myself to make it. IT'S NOT EASY FOR US! Sometimes it's like the stores were we live seem to be more expensive, maybe because we live next to base? Who knows? If we didn't watch what we bought, we would always be broke...I'm serious. Even though it's just the two of us, you would think it's easy, well it isn't. Below I listed our bills, what do you think? I think we must be stingy to make it through this lifestyle, heck any lifestyle now a days.
RENT:$900
CAR:$400
GARBAGE:$20
ELECTRIC & WATER: $300 (pretty much, it went up)
INTERNET & PHONE:$100
MONTHLY GROCERIES:$100 or more for the entire month (usually)
CELL PHONES:$100
ALTERATIONS OF UNIFORMS, OR MILITARY ITEMS NEED TO BE BOUGHT: Usually around $100
USUALLY WHATEVER WE HAVE LET OVER WE PUT IN SAVINGS FOR OUR HARDSHIPS(Such as car problems, oil changes,etc., we usually have $480 left over until February..but next month we won't, because we have been notified our bills have went up due to taxes around our area. Also my husband has to have his car tuned which will take $500 and it's coming up real soon, probably before Feb..We will be left with nothing if we don't start saving...We have to be stingy as we can with our money.
